Police Blotter: Golf Course Green Defiled, DUIs and Theft Reported
Naperville Police Department reports, May 8

Suspended/revoked license
- Miguel Trujillo-Lopez, 38, of the 1200 block of Camden in Aurora, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. near Feldott Lane and West Ogden Avenue, said. He was charged with a traffic control violation, operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on a suspended license. His bail was $2,000.
- Fransico Mendez, 32, of the 200 block of Peppertree Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. in the 10 south 300 block of Schoger Driver, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on a suspended license. His bail was $2,000.
- Police said Toya Monique Payne, 23, of the 12000 block of Canterbury Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 7:10 a.m. near Ferry Road and North Route 59. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, operating a vehicle without insurance. Her bail was $3,000.
- Michael William Draper, 27, of the 3200 block of West 83rd in Woodridge, was arrested at 3:47 p.m. near Ferry Road and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.
Driving under the influence
- Lewis Edward Brown, 23, of the 300 block of Malibu Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:21 a.m. near South Washington Street and Foxcroft Road, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. His bail was $3,000.
- Police said Jose Antonio Lopez, 41, of the 1700 block of Clyde Drive, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. near South Washington street and East Bailey Road. He was charged with a traffic control violation, failure to give a signal, improper lane usage, squealing/screeching tires, unsafe backing on a roadway, improper turn at an intersection and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
Theft
Emil M. Evans, 18, of the 300 block of Ridge Road in Highland Park, was arrested at 12:34 p.m. in the 2800 block of Showplace Drive, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $1,500.
Warrant
Saul Huerta, 21, of the 2900 block of Wellington in Lisle, was arrested at 10:17 p.m. at his home, police said. He was charged on two failure-to-appear warrants. His bail was $5,000.
Disorderly conduct
Brian R. Suler, 27, of the 1800 block of Michigan Avenue, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct. His bond was $1,500.

That's not a sand bunker
Between Monday and Tuesday, someone took an unknown solvent to draw a phallic symbol on a golf course green in the 1600 block of Fairway Drive, killing the grass in the process, police said.
