Police Blotter: Fighting, Battery, Stolen Headrest DVD Player

Naperville Police Department reports, Jan. 13-15

Friday, Jan. 13

Possession

  • Rebecca Marie Polcyn, 26, of the 10000 block of South Long in Oak Lawn, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. at Hassert Boulevard and Book Road, police said. She was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, failing to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Andrea Michelle Berger, 18, of the 2000 block of Fox Point Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 8:32 p.m. at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59, police said. She was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was $1,500.

Warrant arrest

  • Laura Kaye Anderson, 32, of the 13000 block of South Columbine Circle in Plainfield, was arrested at 4:18 p.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Ave., police said. She was charged on a failure to appear warrant. Her bail was $10,000.
  • Eulalio Moreno-Gonzalez, 23, of the first block of Testa Drive, was arrested at 5:03 p.m. in the 500 block of Fort Hill Drive and Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged on a warrant and with driving on a suspended/revoked license and improper lane use. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Salomon Carrillo, 30, of the 1700 block of Felton in Aurora, was arrested at 1:21 a.m. in the 37W700 block of Route 38 in Saint Charles, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Battery

Tameka Gurrod Davis, 35, of the 1100 block of West Ogden Avenue, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. at her home, police said. She was charged with battery, battery with intent to do bodily harm, disorderly conduct and two counts of theft. Her bail was $1,500.

Uninsured

Lisette DeJesus Corral-Corral, 29, of the 1000 block of North Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. in the 2800 block of Aurora Avenue and South Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $2,000.

Vehicle burglary

A 30-year-old woman in the 700 block of Benedetti Drive reported that sometime overnight someone entered her unlocked car and stole a dual display headrest DVD player set and a cell phone charger. The Headrest player was valued at $250 and the charger was valued at $15, police said.

Theft

It was reported in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue that a cell phone valued at $150 was taken from a display on Jan. 12, police said. A second phone valued at $130 was also removed from a display but not taken.

Saturday, Jan. 14

Vehicle burglary

  • Joshua Alexander Hagan, 18, of the 2800 block of Cedar Glade Drive, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. in the 3000 block of Brossman Street, police said. He was charged with burglary from a motor vehicle by force. He was taken to the Will County Jail.
  • Austin Lee Durbin, 18, of the 5300 block of Velvet Bent Court, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. in the 3000 block of Brossman Street, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary from a motor vehicle by force. He was taken to Will County Jail.

Possession

Oliver John Donaghey, 29, of the 800 block of Symphony in Aurora, was arrested at 3:37 p.m. in the 200 block of Fort Hill Drive and West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended/revoked license, driving without insurance and no insurance-operating under a suspension. His bail was $3,000.

Violating bail

Jon Philip Boyes, 28, of the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with violating a bail bond and other charges. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Fighting

Daniel John Schmidt, 22, of the 7600 block of Gladstone, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. at Rizzo's, 6 W. Jefferson Ave., police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.

Theft

Five people entered a story in the 500 block of South Route 59, Shoe Carnival, and left with five pairs of boots valued at $310, police said.

Sunday, Jan. 15

Driving under the influence

  • Omar Perez, 29, of the first block of Long Beach Road in Montgomery, was arrested at 3:22 a.m. in the 1500 block of Bond Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper plate/permit display and driving without insurance. His bail was $3,000.
  • Kelly Marie Lepore, 27, of the 13000 block of Burning Bush Court in Homer Glen, was arrested at 12:21 a.m. at West 75th Street and Modaff Road. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, improper lane use and driving without insurance. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Jacob Jeffrey Ainsworth, 24, of the 100 block of South Barton Trail in Batavia, was arrested at 12:06 a.m. at West Chicago Avenue and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to signal and failing to yield when turning left. His bail was $3,000.
  • Alimaa Purev, 65, of the 2100 block of West Downer Place in Aurora, was arrested at 12:56 a.m. at North Route 59 and Ferry Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and driving without insurance. Her bail was $3,000.

Possession

Anthony Paul Harris, 27, of the 1300 block of Modaff Road, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, a traffic control violation, driving on a suspended/revoked license and operating without insurance. His bail was $2,000.

Uninsured

Safura Ahmed Hajera, 21, of the 1200 block of Edinburgh Court in Wheaton, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. at Martin Avenue and Washington Street, police said. She was charged with driving without insurance, C/R/S registration and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $3,000.

Suspended license

  • [Name Removed], 26, of Oak Lawn, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. at Naperville/Wheaton Road and East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
  • Karen Lynn Kaminski, 44, of the 5800 block of Vernon Park Place in Lisle, was arrested at 5:32 a.m. at East Ogden Avenue and Wisconsin Street, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, driving with only one headlamp and failing to notify the Secretary of State of an address change. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Armando Pacindo, 19, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. in the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue and East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
