Police Blotter: Possession of a Controlled Substance

Disregarding a stop sign
Hector Alfonso Soteno, 24, of the 200 block of Willowbend Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 11:42 p.m. in the 1100 block of Conan Doyle Road and Boswell Lane, said. He was charged with disregarding a stop sign and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
Warrant arrest
- Yvette Marie Rocha, 25, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 9:46 p.m. at Redstart Road and South Washington Street, police said. She was charged on three failure to appear warrants and with driving on a suspended license. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Kenneth Joseph Smith, 34, of the 10 block of Whispering Hills Drive, was arrested at 6:37 p.m. at his home where he was charged on an outstanding warrant and other charges, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Zandra Lykeita Monroe, 37, of the 1700 block of Fox Ridge Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 6:38 p.m. in the 10 block of Whispering Hills Drive police said. She was charged on an outstanding warrant and taken to Will County Jail.
Possession
- Emmanuel James Ventouris, 20, of the 1100 block of Norwalk Road in Lamont, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard and Market Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- John Charles Kacena, 19, of the 2200 block of Flambeau, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard and Market Avenue, police said. He was charged with following too close, improper lane use, failing to signal and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Russell Franklin Tucek, 26, of the 2300 block of Weatherford Lane, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard and Market Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Driving under the influence
Kelly Bridget Harrington, 21, of the 1500 block of Windsor Court, was arrested at 11:29 p.m. in the 1000 block of Windsor Court, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, speeding and disobeying a stop sign. Her bail was $3,000.
