Police Blotter: Ride and Dash, Possession, Interfering with an Officer

Suspended license

Bryant D. Brown, 44, of the 3400 block of West 79^th Street in Chicago, was arrested at 4:54 p.m. near Audrey Avenue and South Route 59, the said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and not wearing a seat belt. His bond was $150.

Possession

• Favian Ramirez-Mendez, 18, of the 1300 block of Burlington Avenue in Lisle, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. near Bond Street and McDowell Road, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.
• Police said Darias Hakeem Ferguson, 18, of the 2700 block of Cedar Glade Drive, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. near Bond Street and McDowell Road. He was charged with improper parking on a roadway, driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cannabis. His bail was $3,000.
• Abba Rogers, 18, of the 1600 block of Coach Drive, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. near South Washington Street and West Hillside Road, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.

Warrant

• Michael Thomas Albert, 22, of the 900 block of Shiloh Circle, was arrested at 6:23 p.m. near West 5^th and West Ogden avenues, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.
• Police said Rasheda Chantel Pankey, 31, of the 1000 block of Sheridan Circle, was arrested at 9:35 a.m. near Paxton Drive and Bond Street. She was charged with having an expired registration, no driver’s license and a failure to appear warrant. Her bond was $1,500.

Retail theft

Roy Persey Hyson, 25, of the 5200 block of North Delsea Drive, was arrested at 4:02 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $150.

Driving under the influence

Joey Patrick Awwad, 24, of the 2200 block of Polo Run Drive, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. near South Washington Street and East Gartner Road, police said. He was charged with improper lane use, speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance

• Julie Ann Arnold, 31, of the 200 block of North Laird Street, was arrested at 3:14 p.m. in the 600 block of North Route 59, police said. She was charged with an unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
• Police said Krystal Diane Moll, 30, of the 24200 block of Graver Lane, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. in the 2700 block of Hassert Boulevard. She was charged with an unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance. She was taken to the Will County Jail.

Interfering with an officer

Zakery Alexander Kates, 23, of the 500 block of Jackson, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. in the 400 South block of Main Street, police said. He was charged with interfering with an officer. His bond was $120.

Ride and dash

Police said a 25-year-old man reported that someone fled his taxi without paying Wednesday night near Testa Drive and Encina drives.
