Police Blotter: Tagging, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Cannabis Possession

Delivery

Shanele Elaine Andrews, 42, of the 1400 block of Schaffer Avenue in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:24 p.m. at 95th Street and Route 59, said. She was charged with manufacture/delivery of controlled substances. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Possession

  • Brian Lee Strzelecki, 20, of the 1400 block of 5th Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 1:31 a.m. in the 700 block of North Aurora Road and Enterprise Court, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and crossing double yellow lines. His bail was $3,000.
  • Johnny Ngoc Nguyen, 18, of the 300 block of Jonquil Court in Aurora, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. in the 400 block of North River Road and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.
  • Remigiusz Alexander Jakimow, 22, of the 1300 block of Carleton Circle, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. in the 700 block of West Bauer Road, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and no rear registration light. His bond was $120.
  • Brian Arthur Burns, 21, of the 1500 block of Treeline Court, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. in the 700 block of West Bauer Road, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120. 

Theft

Brian McDonald, 18, of the 200 block of Fernwood in Montgomery, was arrested at 6:26 a.m. in the 3300 block of Odyssey Court, police said. He was charged with attempting other criminal activity, driving with a suspended license, criminal trespass to land and theft. His bail was $1,500.

Uninsured

Edgar Mondragon, 29, of the 800 block of Liberty Street in Aurora, was arrested at 3:06 p.m. in the 1900 block of Gowdey Road and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with using unsafe tires, driving on a suspended/revoked license, no valid safety sticker and driving without insurance, police said. His bail was $2,000.

Suspended license

Daniel Robert Ossander, 18, of the 1500 block of Conan Doyle Road, was arrested at 9:41 p.m. at South Washington Street and Foxcroft Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.

Criminal damage

A 46-year-old woman in the 900 block of Belaire Court reported that her home was egged, police said. The subjects who did the egging were found and cited, according to police reports.

Theft

A 17-year-old girl’s wallet was stolen without her knowledge in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue. The wallet was stolen while she was shopping with her family. Someone turned the wallet over to the as found property while the family was still shopping, according to police.

Vehicle burglary

A 54-year-old man reported that someone entered his vehicle overnight in the first block of South Stauffer Drive and stole a Garmin GPS, police said.

Criminal defacement

A number of electrical boxes were tagged and defaced with black marker or paint at Ogden Avenue and Eagle Street, Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive, Ogden Avenue and Royal Saint George Drive and Ogden Avenue and West 5th Avenue, according to police reports.
