Driving under the influence
- Juan Aristides Herrera, 35, of the 100 block of Oxford Road in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:49 a.m. at North Washington Street and West Fifth Avenue, said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, crossing the double yellow lines, speeding, failing to signal, driving without insurance and violating the lights and lamps act. His bond was $100.
- Stanley Joseph Wisz, 20, of the 1300 block of Chestnut Drive, was arrested at 11:53 p.m. at Fender Road and East Bailey Road, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, consumption of alcohol by a minor, knowingly damaging property, giving/selling liquor to a minor, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver, improper lane use and possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis. His bond was $100.
Warrant arrest
Javier DeLeon, 33, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. at White Eagle Drive and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and on a failure to appear warrant from DuPage County, police said. His bond was $500.
Suspended license
Yuleimi Esteban-Vazquez, 21, of the 500 block of Carriage Drive in West Chicago, was arrested at 1:32 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Aurora Road and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and driving without insurance. Her bond was $200.
Theft
- A 27-year-old woman reported that someone stole the baby Jesus from her front yard in the 400 block of South Sleight Street between 5 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
- A 27-year-old man reported someone stole a red Nintendo 3DS game system from a bedroom closet in the 800 block of North Brainard Street between Dec. 13 and Tuesday, police said. There was no forced entry to the home.
