Naperville Police Department reports, Feb. 29

Driving under the influence
Baraka Saul Mwakatapanya, 32, of the 2800 block of Red Barn Court in Aurora, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. in Naperville, police said. He was charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license, second offense, aggravated driving under the influence, battery, resisting a peace officer, driving while uninsured and failing to signal. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Suspended license
- Elijah Crawley, 39, of the 900 block of Serendipity in Aurora, was arrested at 12:41 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Route 59 and Meridian Lakes Drive, said. He was charged with driving without a valid registration and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
- Ronald Roy Santos, 44, of the 400 block of Moen Avenue in Rockdale, was arrested at 8:12 p.m. at North Route 59 and East Interstate 88, police said. He was charged with driving while uninsured and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.
Warrant
Anthony James Tames, 20, of the 4000 block of Prairie Avenue in Brookfield, was arrested at East Diehl Road and Freedom Drive, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. His bail was $10,000.
Retail theft
Police said Allen Steven Rubin, 60, of the 1900 bock of Skylane Drive, was arrested at 1 p.m. at Nordstrom Rack, 2511 W. 75th St. He was charged with retail theft. He switched the price tags on two men’s ties, police said. The estimated loss was $87.29. His bail was $1,500.

Theft
- Aquileo Meija, 31, of the 5S400 block of Tuthill Drive, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with two counts of theft and criminal trespass to a residence. He was taken to the DuPage County Bond Court.
- A 32-year-man in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive reported that between Feb. 26 and Tuesday someone stole two bicycles from inside his building.
