Redesigned Naperville Playgrounds to Open

The Naperville Park District is inviting the community to celebrate the reopening of two playgrounds in the east central area of Naperville. 

Huntington Commons will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 17 and Olesen Farm Park on Tuesday, October 1. Both events will take place at 5:00 p.m.

Neighbors are invited to bring their families and friends to participate in a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and check out the new play equipment and landscaping.

Huntington Commons is located at 212 Devon Lane and Olesen Farm Park is located at 1307 Green Trails Drive.

In the event of inclement weather, the playground celebrations will be rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. for Huntington Commons and Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. for Olesen Farm Park.

Playground designs were based on input from neighbors and include state-of-the-art play equipment, accessible to children of all abilities.
