Rep. Peter Roskam Holding Telephone Town Hall Tonight

The meeting will also be live streamed

Congressman Peter Roskam will be holding a telephone town hall meeting tonight at 7:45 p.m. according to his campaign website and a Facebook post. The meeting will cover a variety of issues, including the affordable care act.

"He has done these more than once per month for 10 years and we don't typically announce them in advance," David Pasch, Rep. Roskam's communications director said in an email to Patch. "We've never had a complaint about this." He noted that this is the 131st telephone town hall meeting that Congressman Roskam has conducted.

Pasch said they call every landline in the district and anyone with a cell phone who has registered for the calls. The congressman usually has over 10,000 participants and his staff has added an option for people to listen to the meeting and submit questions on Facebook, according to Pasch.
