Naperville Park District will begin open registration for garden plots for the 2022 season at the Ron Ory Community Garden Plots beginning March 22 at 12:00 noon for Naperville residents and on March 24 at 12:00 noon for nonresidents. Each year garden plot rentals are made available to the public after priority registration for returning gardeners has concluded.

“New and experienced gardeners are welcome at the Ron Ory Community Garden Plots,” said Nature Center Manager Angelique Harshman. “We have full or half plots available, and offer free gardening workshops to assist beginning gardeners in planning and managing their garden.”

A map of the Garden Plots, a set of guidelines and other resources are listed at www.napervilleparks.org/gardenplots. Prospective gardeners can view recordings of a Basic Gardening Workshop and an Organic Gardening Workshop, and other helpful information on the webpage. During the gardening season, a group of master gardeners plants and harvests vegetables in several plots and is available to give advice to other gardeners.
