See Wall Of Remembrance Replica In Naperville On Veterans Day
A replica of the Vietnam Wall of Remembrance will be on display in Naperville Nov. 9 through Nov. 13 in honor of Veterans Day.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents will have a chance to see a replica of the Vietnam Wall of Remembrance when it is on display to honor Veterans Day in Naperville. The replica will be near Centennial Beach and the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion and available for public viewing Nov. 9 through Nov. 13 from sunrise until 10 p.m.
Built by volunteers with the help of donations from 84 Lumber and Blooming Color, the project was also supported by Naperville American Legion Post 43, Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873, Naperville Responds for Veterans and the Naperville Park District.
Spanning 233 feet, the wall displays the names of some 58,000 fallen service members who died during the Vietnam War.

An opening ceremony is planned for Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. On Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., residents can attend a Veterans Day Ceremony. A closing ceremony is slated for 8 p.m. on Nov. 13.
Each above-mentioned ceremony will feature a rifle salute and a performance of "Taps."
