Seymore Snow, Blizzard Of Oz To Hit Streets In Naperville
Wave hello when you see a snowplow out and about in the city. They've now got names, thanks to local students.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Seymore Snow and Blizzard of Oz are just two of the snow plows that have been given names by students from Indian Prairie School District 204. The students named six snow plows as part of a city contest.
Joining Blizzard and Seymore to clear the roads are Frosty the Snowplow, Chilly WATTson, Scoop...I Did it Again and Kendall Plowtriots. As the final name suggests, the monikers were handed down by students from the district's elementary schools, including Kendall, May Watts, Fry, Clow, Brookdale and Patterson, according to a post from the City of Naperville.
The city is working with Naperville Community Unit School District 203 to get names for the remaining snowplows in their fleet.
