Stranger Danger Incident In Naperville: Dist. 204 Officials
The suspect has 'serious charges' against him or her.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Police informed Indian Prairie School District 204 officials of a stranger danger incident that took place Friday. According to an e-newsletter, someone attempted to pick up a student at a bus stop in the area of Modaff Road and Massachusetts Avenue. Police informed the district that serious charges have been filed against that person.
The student was unharmed and assisted by a passerby who contacted authorities. Police responded immediately, quickly located the person, and took the suspect into custody. The newsletter reminds parents to keep talking to their children about safety issues and how to respond when approached by strangers.
