The 18-year-old student was held on $75,000 bail

Devonta Owens was arrested for attacking two of his teachers at an alternative school in Naperville on Friday morning, according to the Naperville Sun.
A DuPage County Sheriff's Office report detailed how Owens, an 18-year-old from Villa Park, assaulted two teachers at the Southeast Alternative School. The facility is a "self-contained school for students with significant behavioral and/or emotional disabilities," according to the School Association for Special Education in DuPage County website.
Owens allegedly struck a teacher in the legs with a wooden desk, which caused the teacher to fall onto the desk. He then grabbed another teacher and pushed that teacher back 15 feet into a steel door frame. That teacher struck their head and was treated and released from Edward Hospital.
