Sunrise Rotary Unveils St. Paddy's Day 5K Beneficiaries
The 14th Annual Sunrise Rotary Naperville Running Company St. Paddy's Day 5K is set for March 9, ahead of the city's St. Pat's parade.

NAPERVILLE, IL — It's less than a month until the streets of downtown Naperville will glow green for the 14th Annual Sunrise Rotary Naperville Running Company St. Paddy’s Day 5K and the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade. On Wednesday, the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise revealed the local charities that will benefit from this year's race.
These are the nonprofits selected to benefit from proceeds for the 2024 event:
- NAMI DuPage’s Ending the Silence
- Samaracare Mental Health Access
- West Suburban Community Pantry's Child Nutrition Programs
"We anticipate the generosity of our sponsors, the dedication of our volunteers, and the unwavering support of our participants to make this year's event a remarkable success," Event Chair and Sunrise Rotarian Ryan Siebert said in a statement. "Runners, walkers, families of all abilities and even four-legged companions are expected to join in, typifying the inclusivity and warmth that defines Naperville's community events. We're looking forward to everyone's involvement and commitment to giving back to our community, while having fun together with family and friends."

After the 5K, spectators will gather to catch the 2024 Naperville St. Patrick's Day Parade, which will step off near Naperville North High School at 10 a.m. on March 9.
