Former Naperville Woman, Twin Sister Drown During Mexico Vacation
Beverly Ann (Sova) Skripsky lived in the Naperville area for more than 30 years before she retired to Scottsdale, AZ.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A former Naperville woman and her twin sister died Sunday after they were reportedly swept out to sea while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas. An obituary for Beverly Ann (Sova) Skripsky, 67, said a rogue wave carried the sisters out to sea as they were walking on the beach.
Skripsky lived in the Naperville area from 1975 until about 2007 when she retired to Scottsdale, Arizona. Her sister, Barbara Jo (Sova) Thomas lived in McKinney, Texas.
In 1970, Beverly married husband Harold Skripsky , who, according to the Naperville Sun, owned the Enchanted Castle in Lombard.

The sisters were born in Eldora, Iowa, on January 29, 1950 to Rudolph and Elsie Sova, according to an obituary published in the Daily Herald.
Beverly is survived by husband Harold, daughter Kelly Hurter, son Matthew Skripsky of Mattoon, and four grandchildren: Lincoln Hurter, Oscar Hurter, Elsie Hurter and Ace Skripsky.
