Weather Prompts Officials To Extend Leaf Collection In Naperville
The change comes as the forecast has brought little snow and a later start of falling leaves.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Leaf collection has been extended in Naperville due to weather conditions this season. A final collection cycle is set to kick off on Nov. 27.
According to an update from city officials, the choice to add one more leaf collection cycle comes amid a lack of snow and a later start for falling leaves. Workers have not yet had to transition to driving snow management vehicles, so collection is available a little longer.
Residents are encouraged to rake their leaves to the curb by 6 a.m. on Nov. 27. Homes near North Central College will also get one more opportunity for leaf collection on Dec. 2.
