Windows Shattered As Thieves Target Cars In Naperville
Police say there were "multiple vehicle break-ins" at two separate locations in Naperville Thursday.
NAPERVILLE, IL — "Multiple vehicles" were targeted by burglars in Naperville last Thursday, according to police. The break-ins took place at two separate locations, with thieves shattering windows to gain access to the inside of each vehicle.
Police say the burglaries took place in the 1800 block of Freedom Drive and the 1900 block of Glacier Park Avenue. The car owners reported that several items were stolen from the backseat of their vehicles.
In the wake of the incidents, police are urging residents to remove valuables from their vehicles or to keep items out of sight in an effort to deter burglars.
