$5,000 Stolen From Car Of Joey's Red Hots Employee: NLPD
The burglary to motor vehicle happened behind the restaurant Sunday around 11:30 p.m., police said.
NEW LENOX, IL — New Lenox police were called late Sunday after a Joey's Red Hots employee reported that their car had been broken into and $5,000 stolen from inside, according to police reports.
Police were called Sunday around 11:30 p.m. to the restaurant, 217 E. Maple St., for a burglary to a vehicle.
An employee told police they had parked their car behind the restaurant for 10 minutes. When they returned, a window had been shattered and a bag containing a store deposit of $5,000 had been taken, the employee told police.
