The incident was called in just before noon Friday, July 25. The caller told police that they had seen three men "put a bag over another subject's head" and force them into a vehicle outside Chili's, 2390 E. Lincoln Highway.

Police learned that the woman was the petitioner of an order of protection against a passenger, a 24-year-old New Lenox man.

Under the order, the man was barred from contact with the driver. He was taken into custody for a violation of an order of protection and transported to the New Lenox Police Department.

He was transferred to the Will County Jail.

At a pre-trial detention hearing July 27, the charge against the man was dismissed, court records show. Patch is not naming the man since charges have been dismissed.
