Parents in New Lenox can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
NEW LENOX, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in New Lenox, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Lincoln-Way High Community School District 210 and New Lenox School District 122.
The first day of school for most students in New Lenox is Aug. 16.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its two-and-a-half-year point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in New Lenox.

- First Day: Aug. 24 for grades 1-8, Aug. 25 for kindergarten
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25
- Winter Break: Dec. 23 to Jan. 6
- Spring Break: April 3-7
- Last Day: June 2
