Back To School: Your Lincoln-Way D210 2024-2025 School Calendar

NEW LENOX, IL — There's just a little bit of summer vacation left, until students head back to school this month. Back-to-school planning has already begun in Lincoln-Way District 210, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2024-2025 school year.

The first day of school for all levels is August 21.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the Lincoln-Way District 210 school calendar and your student’s school calendar for conferences, open houses, meetings, exams, early dismissals, athletic and other school events.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the 24-25 school year:

• Aug. 20: first day of school
• Sept. 2: no school, Labor Day
• Sept. 4: early release
• Sept. 18: early release
• Oct. 2: early release
• Oct. 11: Institute Day, no school
• Oct. 14: Columbus Day, no school
• Nov. 4: early release
• Nov. 5: Election Day, no school
• Nov. 26: early release
• Nov. 27-29: Thanksgiving break, no school
• Dec. 4: early release
• Dec. 20: winter break begins at end of day
• Dec. 23-Jan. 3: winter break, no school
• Jan. 6, Institute Day, no school
• Jan. 7: students return from break
• Jan. 20 Martin Luther King Day, no school
• Jan. 29: early release
• Feb. 12: early release
• Feb. 17: Presidents' Day, no school
• March 13: early release
• March 14: institute day, no school
• March 28: early release, spring break begins at end of day
• March 31-April 4: spring break, no school
• April 7: students return from break
• April 18: no school
• May 26: Memorial Day, no school
• May 30: last day of school

Graduations for all three high schools—Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way West and Lincoln-Way East—will be held on May 17.
