NEW LENOX, IL — In the rush to make a complete holiday meal for the entire family, and wrap up the gift-giving prep, it’s inevitable we’ll forget something on our lists—even though we checked it twice (or three, or four times). If you need another pound of butter or a carton of milk on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, it’s a good idea to know where to go, as grocery stores in and near New Lenox adjust their hours for the holidays.

A handful of drugstores will be open on Christmas Day. Most 24-hour Walgreens stores will be open as usual, and others may be open for limited hours on Christmas Day. Most CVS locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day, and 24-hour stores will be open as usual. In all cases, call ahead for pharmacy hours.
