Car Bursts Into Flames on I-80 Near New Lenox

Travelers on I-80 westbound between Mokena and New Lenox saw a car burst into flames and spew black streams of smoke into the air at about 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11. State Police said no one was hurt but the car was a total loss. Lanes were closed while New Lenox firefighters put out the fire.
