Counting Crows To Headline Final 2022 Triple Play Concert In New Lenox

The Grammy-nominated band is scheduled to take the stage at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Village Commons.

NEW LENOX, IL — Fans of the band Counting Crows will want to come "round here" to New Lenox Saturday for the final installment of the 2022 Triple Play Concert Series.

Gates open for the outdoor concert series at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the Village Commons. May-December Trio is slated to take the stage to open things up at 6 p.m., followed by Phillip-Michael Scales at 7:30 p.m. The night's headliner, Counting Crows, will hit the stage at 9 p.m.

Counting Crows first made waves in the '90s with its hits “Round Here” and “Mr. Jones.” The twice Grammy-nominated band has also recorded the popular songs "A Long December," "Rain King," and a cover of Joni Mitchell's famous "Big Yellow Taxi."

Those who haven't grabbed their tickets yet still have a chance to do so. Tickets for the Triple Play Concert Series are still available for purchase, according to Village staff. Tickets for the concert series are $90 each and are good for admission to each of the two remaining concerts.

Those who are interested in purchasing tickets must do so in person at the Village of New Lenox Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway.

Although identification is not required to purchase tickets, the Village will sell tickets to anyone living within the 60451 zip code, or to those who receive services from any New Lenox entity, including schools and the New Lenox Park District.
