Man Tries To Scam New Lenox McDonald's, Employee Calls Him Out: NLPD
It happened at the McDonald's on Laraway Road. When denied his food return, the man grabbed and dragged an employee across the counter.

NEW LENOX, IL — An irate man who grabbed a McDonald's employee by the arm was trying to pull off a scam, according to police reports.
New Lenox police were called May 24 around 9:30 p.m. to the McDonald's restaurant at 2151 E. Laraway Road, for a report of a battery.
The man entered the store and complained to employees about a wrong food order. The employee told police they recognized the man from descriptions of a customer who had attempted to make fraudulent food returns at other McDonald's locations, police said. The man tried to make the returns for cash refunds, according to reports.

The employee told the man that he needed to provide a receipt to complete the return, and said he was aware the man was trying to scam the business.
The man "became upset and grabbed the employee by the arm and pulled it towards him over the counter."

He was gone before police arrived.
