Disorderly Conduct, DUI, Retail Theft: New Lenox Police Reports
New Lenox police reports from Feb. 14 through Feb. 21.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt.
Feb. 16
- Matthew E. Crawford, 32, of New Lenox was charged with disorderly conduct. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to the New Lenox Post Office for a report of a disturbance. The officer arrived and learned that Crawford became irate when employees would not accept and mail a package of his. An employee told police that Crawford was yelling racial slurs and vulgar statements to everyone inside the building. Crawford was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Crawford posted bond and was released.

- Gabriela Godoy-Hernandez, 50, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, for a report of a retail theft. The officer learned that Godoy-Hernandez took approximately $277 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it. Godoy-Hernandez was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Godoy-Hernandez posted bond and was released.
- Dan L. Sullivan, 39, of Mokena, was charged with DUI. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to the 100 block of East Haven Avenue for a report of a vehicle that struck a house. The officer arrived on scene and learned that Sullivan was driving under the influence of alcohol. Sullivan was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Sullivan posted bond and was released.
Feb. 19
- Kari Ann, 38, of Shorewood, was charged with retail theft. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, for a report of retail theft. Upon arrival, the officer learned that Dimock took approximately $229.24 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it. Dimock was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Dimock posted bond and was released.

- Melvin Wiles, 53, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer pulled Wiles over for speeding and learned that he had a suspended driver’s license. Wiles was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Wiles posted bond and was released.
