Farmers Market Is Back In Jam-Packed New Lenox Summer Lineup

NEW LENOX, IL — The Village of New Lenox this week released its lineup of summer events, keeping some favorites and touting the long-sought return of a local farmers market.

Returning are the well-liked Cruise the Commons, Movie Nights, and Fridays After Five. The New Lenox Summer Concert Series offers six shows this year, ranging from country, to folk-sy, to tributes to Queen and Led Zepellin. Tickets for all shows are on sale now, and for the first time ever, can be purchased online.

Food Fight: Taco Fest is back for a third year on July 12 (we're betting with the chihuahua beauty pageant, too).

The Village's special events series kicks off May 5, with the Loyalty Day Parade. Next up is the first farmers market, on May 15. Cruise the Commons is back for its first week on May 20, at 5 p.m.
