Fridays After Five In New Lenox To Close Season With Food Trucks, Band
The MaryJane Breakdown is scheduled to perform for the free live music entertainment.
NEW LENOX, IL — Summer is starting to wind down, and that means Fridays After Five is winding down for the season, too. But New Lenox residents have one more chance Friday to check out the popular summertime series.
This Fridays After Five at the Village Commons, which runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., will feature food trucks from:
- Creme of the Crop Catering;
- Jimmy Jo's BBQ;
- Joey's Red Hots;
- Lil' Deb's Mobile Eats;
- Tacos Maui;
- TCBY;
- and The Dock at Inwood
There will also be beer and hard seltzer available for sale from the concession stand, and coolers are permitted in the Village Commons during this event, according to information on the Village of New Lenox website.

Fridays After Five is free to attend, and all ages are welcome. Food truck vendors will charge for food and beverages.

A portion of Veterans Parkway will be closed for Fridays After Five. Limited street parking parking will be available.
Additional parking will be available in the south lot of the Village Hall, at Trinity Services and at Old Plank Trail Community Bank. Parking will be available at the New Lenox Public Library after 6 p.m.
Smoking and pets are prohibited on the Village Commons lawn. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, as seating and table space in the Commons are limited.
