Know Before You Go: The Revivalists Coming To New Lenox Saturday
The second of six shows in this year's Summer Concert Series is set for Saturday, June 21.
NEW LENOX, IL — New Lenox's Summer Concert Series is rolling, with country artist Chris Young having kicked it off June 14. Next in the lineup is The Revivalists, set for Saturday, June 21 at the New Lenox Commons.
Tickets are still available for $40 each and, for the first time ever, can be purchased online.
The Revivalists are the second in a six-show lineup in New Lenox this summer. They're followed up by The "I Want My 80s Tour" on June 27, Led Zeppelin tribute band Get the Led Out on July 19, and Queen tribute band Killer Queen on July 26. Then on Aug. 16, multi-platinum recording artist and Emmy Award winner Andy Grammer will play, with hits such as "Honey, I’m Good," "Keep Your Head Up," and many more. Tickets remain for all shows.

- 5 p.m.: Shuttle service starts
- 5:30 p.m.: Gates open
- 6 p.m. Robin Taylor Zander (opening act)
- 7:30 p.m.: Pernikoff Brothers (opening act)
- 9 p.m.: The Revivalists performance
The Revivalists bring their soulful alt-rock, infused with classic American music influences to the Commons. They're known for hits like "Wish I Knew You" and "Kid." They're an eight-piece band with David Shaw on lead vocals and guitar, Zack Feinberg on guitar, Andrew Campanelli on drums, George Gekas on bass, Ed Williams on pedal steel guitar, Rob Ingraham on saxophone, Michael Girardot on keyboard and trumpet, and PJ Howard on drums and percussion.
Parking
Limited parking is available at the Village Hall south lot (1 Veterans Parkway), the New Lenox Public Library (120 Veterans Parkway), Old Plank Trail Community Bank (280 Veterans Parkway), and Trinity Services (301 Veterans Parkway).
Additional free parking is available at the Route 30 Metra station, located at 201 N. Prairie in New Lenox. Access to the venue is provided via a free shuttle service that runs continuously throughout the event. Shuttles drop off in the Village Commons at the corner of Veterans Parkway and Gear, near Gate 1.
Accessibility
Accessible parking is available at the New Lenox Police Department's administrative lot, located to the southeast of the building. Patrons then have the option of being transported to the concert entry gate via golf cart. Limited accessible parking spaces are also available in the Village Hall south lot and the New Lenox Public Library lot.
Entrances
There are two entrances to the Performing Arts Pavilion. The first (Gate 1) is located at Veterans Parkway and Gear, near the front of the Village Hall. The other entrance (Gate 3) is located in front of the New Lenox Police Department.
Gate 3 offers an accessible entrance, providing a separate, designated entry for those who need assistance to their seat. This is the closest entry to the accessible parking as well as being the closest entry to the venue's designated accessible seating, which is located in front of the concession stand and is accessible via sidewalk.
Location
The Performing Arts Pavilion is located at 101 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox. From Interstate 80, exit at Route 30 and head east. Approximately one mile down, turn right onto Veterans Parkway.All seating at the Performing Arts Pavilion is general admission lawn seating. Accessible seating is reserved in front of the concession stand and features a flat, concrete surface that can be accessed via sidewalk.
What To Leave At Home
The following items are prohibited: video/audio recording devices, professional cameras and cameras with detachable lenses, pets (excluding service animals), outside food or beverages, tables, wagons, and umbrellas. Small, empty, soft-sided/collapsible coolers are permitted. All bags are subject to search. Blankets and lawn chairs are permitted.
Reminders
The show is rain or shine, and once you leave, you can't come back. Children ages 8 and under are admitted free and must be accompanied by an adult. Smoking is prohibited.
Food and Drink
Food and beverages, including alcohol, will be available for sale at the show. Patrons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcohol. Drink tickets, which are available for sale on site for $5, must be used for all alcohol purchases (one ticket = one beverage). Drink ticket sales are cash only, and an ATM is available on site. Drink tickets are only valid at the concert at which they are purchased.
