L-Way Central Wins Homecoming; 48-0 over Thornridge
Lincoln-Way Central Knights dominated Game 5 of the 2013 season with a score of 48-0 over Thronridge.
Lincoln-Way Central Knights won their homecoming game against Thornridge with a score of 48-0.
The Knights took an early lead, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter. At the end of the half the score was 34-0.
Homecoming traditions were plentiful. Former band members joined in with the the current crop of Marching Knights for the Lincoln-Way Central "Loyalty" song and "Battle Hymn of the Republic."
The cheerleaders and Rhythm Knights got the crowd cheering, while the Knight mascot and a few black and red associates worked to spread smiles.
The cheerleaders, Rhythm Knights and Marching Knights performed their 2013 routines before a cheering crowd at half-time. And the homecoming court was introduced.
