Orland Park Man Dies Following Assault In New Lenox
Wayne Deutsch, 39, of Orland Park suffered multiple rib fractures. He was pronounced dead Wednesday.
NEW LENOX, IL — A man attacked last week in New Lenox has died from his injuries, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Wayne Deutsch, 39, of Orland Park suffered multiple rib fractures and an accumulation of blood in the left portion of his lung and chest area during an assault that occurred on June 12 at 5:20 p.m. in the 13900 block of East Illinois Highway in New Lenox.
He was pronounced dead at 8:39 p.m. Wednesday at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled Deutsch's death a homicide.
