New Lenox Man, 65, Killed In Frankfort Crash: Coroner
A New Lenox man died Wednesday night following a crash on Wolf Road in Frankfort, the Will County Coroner's Office said.
FRANKFORT, IL — A New Lenox man was killed in a crash in Frankfort Wednesday night, the Will County Coroner's Office said Thursday.
Leonard L. Hawrysio, 65, died in the crash in the 21600 block of Wolf Road in Frankfort, the coroner's office said.
Frankfort Police told Patch that officers arrived with Frankfort Fire Protection District personnel and found a single vehicle that had struck multiple fire hydrants and a tree in the 21600 block of Wolf Road. Hawrysio was found unresponsive at the scene, and taken to Silver Cross Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11 p.m.

The Frankfort Police Department activated the Lincoln-Way Area Crash Team to assist with the investigation. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
