New Lenox PD Goes All In For National Night Out At The Commons
The NL Police Department will host its free event Tuesday, August 5, in partnership with National Night Out.

NEW LENOX, IL — New Lenox Police will host the department's local National Night Out event, set for Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Village Commons.
The nationwide event held annually on the first Tuesday in August “promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer,” according to the National Association of Town Watch, the organization that founded the event in 1984.
New Lenox's festivities will be held at the Commons, 101 Veterans Parkway, from 6 to 8 p.m., and will include bounce houses, live music, vendor tables, giveaways, and more. Free food and beverages will be available for all event attendees.

Admission is free. Guests of all ages are welcome.
For parking, a portion of Veterans Parkway will be closed to traffic to accommodate the event activities. Limited parking will be available on the street.

Parking is available in the south lot of the Village Hall, at Old Plank Trail Community Bank, and at Trinity Services. The New Lenox Public Library is open during this event. Please help us in treating our neighbor with respect by leaving their parking lot open for patrons. We appreciate your courtesy.
Accessible parking is available in the New Lenox Police Department's administrative parking lot, located to the southeast of the New Lenox Police Department.
