James P. Schreiner “Wheels”
James P. Schreiner passed away at the age of 62, on Friday, November 7, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center. James was born on September 22, 1963 the son of the late Clyde and Charlene (nee Lehmann). He graduated from Joliet Catholic High School Class of 1981, and was their basketball’s team “Superfan”.

He was a lifelong supporter of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He was also an avid NASCAR fan who loved the excitement of race day and cheering on his favorite drivers.
James is survived by his brothers, Michael (Norma) Schreiner, Robert (Marianne) Schreiner, Charles (Deb) Schreiner, and Dan Schreiner; sister, Kathy (RB) Henschen , several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation for James P. Schreiner will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield, IL. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for procession.
