A fire at 1:20 a.m. in New Lenox destroyed a garage and storage shed at 15 Warren Ave. according to the New Lenox Fire Department. The shed caught fire and flames extended to the attached garage, but the home was left largely undamaged.

Fire crews from Frankfort, Mokena and East Joliet joined New Lenox at the scene.
