Pat Benatar And Neil Giraldo Headline Triple Play Concert Saturday
Saturday's concert in New Lenox is the second of the Triple Play Concert series.
NEW LENOX, IL — The Village Commons in New Lenox will be a battlefield of love Saturday when the second set of the Triple Play Concert Series kicks off, headlined by Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.
Gates open for the outdoor concert series at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Chris Trapper is slated to take the stage to open things up at 6 p.m., followed by Mark Farner's American Band at 7:30 p.m. The night's headliner, Benatar and Giraldo, will hit the stage at 9 p.m.
Benatar and Giraldo made waves in the '80s with such hits as “Heartbreaker,” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and “Love Is a Battlefield,” among others. The pair were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Hame on May 4, according to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website.

Those who haven't grabbed their tickets yet still have a chance to do so. Tickets for the Triple Play Concert Series are still available for purchase, according to Village staff. Tickets for the concert series are $90 each and are good for admission to each of the two remaining concerts.
Those who are interested in purchasing tickets must do so in person at the Village of New Lenox Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway.

Although identification is not required to purchase tickets, the Village will sell tickets to anyone living within the 60451 zip code, or to those who receive services from any New Lenox entity, including schools and the New Lenox Park District.
The final Triple Play Concert Series performance is scheduled for Aug. 27 and will be headlined by Counting Crows.
