Possession Of Controlled Substance, DUI, More: NLPD Reports
New Lenox police reports for July 30 through Aug. 15.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt.
July 29
- Robert A. Kueltzo, 54, of New Lenox, was arrested for having an active warrant. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to the NLPD because Kueltzo was turning himself in on a warrant. Upon arrival the officer met Kueltzo and learned he had an active warrant out of Will County. Kueltzo posted bond and was released.

- Bonifacio Sandoval, 28, of Joliet, was charged with DUI. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Williams Street when the officer saw Sandoval speeding in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Sandoval was driving under the influence of alcohol. Sandoval was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Sandoval posted bond and was released.
Aug. 1
- Caleb E. Sims, 25, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 80 and saw Sims speeding in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Sims had a suspended driver’s license. Sims was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Sims posted bond and was released.
- Andrea E. Jenkins, 34, of Plainfield, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 80 and saw a vehicle with expired registration in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Jenkins had a suspended driver’s license. Jenkins was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Jenkins posted bond and was released.

- Anthony J. Yarc, III, 33, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Cooper Road and saw a vehicle with an equipment violation in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Yarc had a suspended driver’s license. The officer also learned that Yarc had an active warrant our of DuPage County for his arrest. Yarc III was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Yarc posted bond and was released.
Aug. 4
- Jasena J. Borchert, 22, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Vine Street and saw a vehicle with improper registration in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Borchert had a suspended driver’s license. Borchert was arrested and taken to the NLPD.
Borchert posted bond and was released. - Logan W. Sorensen, 18, of Manhattan, was arrested on a warrant. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Cedar Road and saw a vehicle with expired registration in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Sorensen had an active Will County warrant out for his arrest. Sorensen was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Sorensen posted bond and was released.
Aug. 5
- Jordan G. Thurston, 26, of Plainfield, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 80 and saw a vehicle with improper registration in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and found Thurston to be illegally in possession of a controlled substance, prescription medication. Thurston was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Thurston was later transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Aug. 9
- Tievon M. Garner, 30, of Joliet, was arrested on a warrant. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the 400 block of East U.S. Route 30 and saw a vehicle with improper registration. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Garner had an active warrant out of Will County. Garner was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Garner was later transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Aug. 11
- Aja L. Young, 29, of Matteson, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Vine Street and saw a vehicle commit a moving violation in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Young had a suspended driver’s license. Young was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Young posted bond and was released.
- Brent J. White, 26, of Frankfort, was charged with DUI. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Vine Street and saw a vehicle commit a moving violation in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that White was driving under the influence of alcohol. White was arrested and taken to the NLPD. White posted bond and was released.
Aug. 12
- John R. Barry, 40, of New Lenox, was arrested on a warrant. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to the NLPD because Barry was turning himself in on a warrant. Upon arrival to the NLPD, the officer learned that Barry had an active warrant out of Will County. Barry posted bond and was released.
Aug. 14
- Crisanto Zamudio-Bibian, 44, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license revoked. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol in the 1800 block of West U.S. Route 30 and saw a vehicle speeding in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned that Zamudio-Bibian had a revoked driver’s license. Zamudio-Bibian was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Zamudio-Bibian posted bond and was released.
