Results: Local Runners in the Chicago Marathon

New Lenox was well represented in the Oct. 13 Chicago Marathon. 

They joined in with an estimated 45,000 runners to complete a 26-mile race beginning at Grant Park. 

Kyle Matuszewski, 22, is a member of the Frankfort-New Lenox Running Club. "I survived my first marathon, and ran it in a time of 3:38. It gave me a 8:12 pace. It was a struggle at the begging to get my way through the crowds since I started with people aiming for 4:30 finishes."
