Rick Kogan and Second City Live at Governors State University
Veterans Day ceremony, helping abused children, L-Way Lacrosse, wine tasting and a lot more to do this week in and near Mokena, New Lenox and Frankfort.
Renowned Chicago scribe Rick Kogan will be joining up with The Second City for a unique show at Governors State University Thursday.
Chicago Live! is a radio and stage show where Kogan “will bring the newspaper to life with the help of editorial, musical and comedic guests, including skits from The Second City Comedy Troupe, music by The Otis Clay Revue, and returning WGN favorites Kathy O'Malley and Judy Markey from ‘The Kathy and Judy Show,’” according to a release.
The performance will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Governors State University’s Center for Performing Arts, 1 University Parkway, University Park.
