NEW LENOX, IL — Rick Springfield and the I Want My 80s tour took a dip into nostalgia for thousands of fans at the New Lenox Commons Friday.

The third show in the Village of New Lenox's Summer Concert series, "Jessie's Girl" crooner Springfield was joined by Wang Chung, John Waite and Paul Young as the tour continues its 40-stop summer road trip.

Nearly 3,000 tickets were sold for the New Lenox show, Mayor Tim Baldermann said. Each act delivered its own set, with Springfield closing out the night.
