Silver Cross Foundation Hosts Free Estate Planning & Charitable Giving Lunch & Discussion Sept. 30

The Silver Cross Foundation will host an Estate Planning & Charitable Giving lunch and discussion Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Silver Cross Hospital, in the Conference Center, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., in New Lenox. Topics will include new updates for 2025 bequests, living trusts, probate, tax savings, life insurance, annuities, donor-advised funds and more.
The free educational event will be led by Silver Cross Foundation Board Members and experts in their field including: Heather Voorn, attorney and partner with Voorn, Jaworski & Preston, LLC; Scott Segobiano, financial advisor with Edward Jones; Kathy Miller, insurance agent with Kathy Miller State Farm Insurance; and Tracy Simons CFRE, executive director with Silver Cross Foundation.
Participants will learn how to include Silver Cross Hospital as a beneficiary in their will and trust to create a legacy that does not cost anything during their lifetime. In addition to a complimentary lunch, attendees will receive a free estate planning guide and entry in a door prize drawing.
