How do you know the teacher?

She is my son Austin’s Specialized Instruction elementary teacher

What does this person teach?

Specialized instruction 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Special Education teachers are a different breed. The compassion and patience they have for our kids is unmatched. Mrs. Rodriguez definitely sets the standard. My son loves school and his class. He has fun yet she actually challenges him instead of dismissing him because he needs to be taught a different way.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

My son Austin loves school because of teachers like Mrs. Rodriguez. He is non-verbal and in a wheelchair. School for him his hard work, but she makes it fun. She makes him want to learn.
