Village, VFW, American Legion To Hold Joint Veterans Day Ceremony

NEW LENOX, IL — Join the Village of New Lenox on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., the Village of New Lenox, VFW Post 9545, and American Legion Post 1977 will honor all Veterans that have served this country with a celebration at the New Lenox Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway, on the first floor in the rotunda.

"Please help us focus attention on the important purpose of Veterans Day," the Village said. "A celebration to thank and honor living American Veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good—in wartime or peacetime.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Those with a hand-held American flag to wave are encouraged to bring it.
