Woman Threw Food At, Shoved KFC Worker In NYE Battery: New Lenox PD
The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 31, police said. The woman was angry her order was missing something.

NEW LENOX, IL — A Joliet woman was charged with battery New Year's Eve, after an angry encounter with an employee at KFC in New Lenox, police said.
Police were called to KFC, 340 W. Maple St., for a report of a battery. An employee told police that a woman had complained about her order missing an item.
The woman, later identified as Hope Six, 57, of Joliet, "banged on the door of the closed lobby," according to reports.

The employee partially opened the door for Six, who then allegedly pushed the door open and pushed the employee. Six then threw her bag of food at the worker, according to police reports.
The employee instructed their co-workers to call 911, and Six left, according to police.

Police said another employee witnessed Six throw the food at the employee. Police were given a description of Six’s vehicle and located it nearby. She was taken into custody and transported to the New Lenox Police Department.
Six initially admitted to pushing the door open and pushing the KFC employee, police said. She was processed and released.
