Child Luring Suspect Arrested After Two More Incidents

A Glenview man has been charged with disorderly conduct in relation to four attempted child luring incidents.

Glenview police arrestedย Hicham M. Drissi, 28, of Glenview, on Friday afternoon, and charged him with two counts of Misdemeanorย Disorderly Conduct in relation to four attempted child luring incidents over the last two weeks, police said.

On Friday, Sept. 27, between 3:22 and 3:45 p.m., two female Glenbrookย South High School students reported the maleย driver of aย newer model, black fourย door SUV tried speaking to them, according to police.

One incident occurred at the intersection ofย East Lake Avenue and Pfingsten Road. The other incident occurred in theย high school'sย westย parking lot.

The driver and vehicle matched theย description of the offender involved in two previous attempted child luring casesย that occuredย at GBS and Jackman Park over the last two weeks.

Responding officers searched the surrounding area and stopped theย described offending vehicle at 4:41 p.m. on East Lake Avenue at Greenwood Road, police say.

The driver, Drissi, wasย in a black 2013 Lincoln MKX SUV, and arrested on the spot.ย ย 

The police investigation revealed Drissi was the offender in all fourย reported incidents, according to police.

Investigators, in consultation with the Cook County Stateย Attorneyโ€™s Office, chargedย Drissi with two counts of Misdemeanorย Disorderly Conduct. Drissi posted bond and will appear in the second district court onย Oct. 29.
