Go Back To The Music of the 1970s and 80s With Concert Friday
Here's what's up Today in Niles and Morton Grove.
- Forget the present. Let's go back to the 1970s and 80s--Yes, even you who weren't born yet. The band BBI is your time-travel machine, playing the hits of the long-hair and padded-shoulders eras. Climb aboard Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Niles' Oak Park. This is the last Concert in the Park for the summer (sniff).
- The Teen Book Club at the Niles Teen Center will discuss "Between Shades of Gray" at 4 p.m. We hope it's better-written than the rest of those "Gray" books.
- Oasis Fun Center Pool kicks into late-season mode on Monday, so get out there today and enjoy a swim! It's on Milwaukee Avenue south of Oakton in Niles.
