- Finally, the long-awaited Craft Supply Swap is here. You can drop off your leftover/unwanted craft supplies Friday at the Homestead, a senior adult building on the northwest corner of Lincoln, Lehigh, and the Metra tracks in Morton Grove. The Swap itself will take place Saturday morning.
- Drinking and socializing while creating a painting? That sounds like a great idea. For $35, come to the Art Station Studio BYOB Friday evening with a bottle of your favorite beverage. They provide the art supplies; you create the fun. It's on Oakton in Niles.
- Ever heard a band shift seamlessly from rock to blues to country to jazz? Come see The Jukebox Band do just that, Friday at 6:30 at Niles' Oak Park.
- Ear, ear! It's time for summer corn at the Morton Grove Farmer's Market. If you want us to stop with the corny jokes, come meet your farmer Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until noon at 6210 Dempster.
