Niles North Celebrates Homecoming This Weekend

Plus, football tough guys Niles West and Maine West play each other Friday; and attend a Bears tailgate tonight, Thursday, in a Niles parking lot; food and beer included.

Here's what's happening in Niles and Morton Grove for Thursday. Oct. 10.

Ready to tail gate? Get to St. John Brebeuf Church's parking lot by 5:30 Thursday, Oct. 10, for beer and hearty tailgate food, then watch the Bears Beat the Giants on a 45-foot screen. If it rains, the event will move indoors.
The Niles North Vikings are taking part in Homecoming Festivities this week, with a boys soccer game Thursday against Carmel at 7 p.m., a 6:30 p.m. parade Friday followed by the Homecoming Game vs. Glenbrook North, and fireworks after the game. The Homecoming Dance is Saturday.
Looking ahead: This should be a test of football character! Niles West plays Maine South at 7 p.m. Friday at Maine South.
