George P. Korda
(March 3, 1917 - October 11, 2013)

George P. Korda, 96, of Niles, WWII Navy Vet, beloved husband of the late Helen, nee Kurpiewski, loving brother of the late Robert (Lois) and late Raymond (late Rose); brother-in-law of Irene (late Norbert) Janczak. Fond uncle and great-uncle of many; dear great-great and great-great-great uncle of many.
Visitation Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 8025 W. Golf Rd., Niles. Funeral Monday, October 14, starting with prayers at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., proceeding to St. Isaac Jogues Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Entombment at All Saints Mausoleum will follow. 
George was an employee of the the US Postal Service for over 65 years at the Wicker Park Station. He was a longtime member and usher at St. Isaac Jogues Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 65 and the VFW Post 1525.

Irene A. Szewczyk, nee Nowak. Age 89. Beloved Wife of the late Edwin B. Loving Mother of Joanne (Bohdan DDS) Bilas, Linda Szewczyk, Susan (Wayne) Ammentorp and Guardian of Brother Peter (Donna) Nowak. Dearest Grandmother of Bohdan Jr. and Eric J. Bilas. Cherished Sister of the late Chester (the late Florence) Nowak, and the late Lillian (Roman) Zawadzki. Dear Aunt of many Nieces and nephews.
